III. Installation:

(If you have ez69VGUI 1.3 already installed, skip to STEP 3D)

1. backup /tfc/commandmenu.txt (rename to commandmenu.bak)
2. unzip new commandmenu.txt to half-life/tfc/ directory
3. Make a bind for "+commandmenu" either by:
  3a. -In start menu, select Run, enter c:\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game tfc (where c:\ is location of your Half-Life)
      -Activate In-Game GUI option in Half Life/TFC Configuration/CONTROLS menu
      -Select and input the button you want to press to use GUI while playing
  3b. or Edit /tfc/config.cfg; (where "x" is the button you want to press to open VGUI)
	add the following line:
	bind "x" "+commandmenu"
  3c. or in game console, type "bind x +commandmenu" where x is the key you want to use.

3D. If you have VGUI 1.3 already installed, Unzip commandmenu.text into \tfc directory

4. OPTIONAL (SKIP IF YOU ALREADY HAVE VGUI 1.3): Install extra scripts (inlcuded below and in the cfg files).
  4a. Just copy/paste scripts included below into the respective
   	.cfg file. Example: soldier rocketjumps go into /tfc/soldier.cfg
  4b. Change bind "x" to whatever key you want to use to activate command. MAKE SURE you
      DO NOT select a key already in a bind with a different command for Soldier.

5. OPTIONAL : Use a text editor like Word-Pad (file is too big for NotePad) and add in your own
	MISC messages. Examples are included in commandmenu. Feel free to use them. ;-)

6. To install RCON HOTKEYS
  a. unzip hotkey.cfg to \tfc directory
  b. open hotkey.cfg, change the binds from w,x,y,z to the keys you want to use, MAKE SURE that the keys you choose are never used by anything else.
  c. save and close

  -To use, select RCON MENU, ez69 Server Rcon button to input rcon when you join the server
  -Select ENABLE HOTKEYS, now the hotkeys can be used (BUT USE THEM SPARINGLY)

7. To INSTALL CD Player script:
  a. unzip cdplayer.cfg into \tfc directory
  b. open autoexec.cfg in text editor, add the following line:

	exec cdplayer.cfg

  c. save and close autoexec.cfg

To use CD PLAYER, just put any audio cd into cdrom drive. Any cd track selected by vgui will be looped, that is on autorepeat, until another track or stop is selected.

NOTE:

-Some people might have problems controlling cd player if AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATION is checked ON under the Properties of the CDROM Drive.
Turning off this AutoInsert Notification is recommended.
-Also, for some others, the Play Cd Music option must be checked ON in the HL/TFC Audio Configuration Menu
-If you rather not have cd tracks looped, change each line in cdplayer.cfg (with text editor) as the following:

alias cd1 "CD loop 1; devon; echo Playing Track 1; devoff; alias cdup cd2; alias cddn cd24"

 to read as:

alias cd1 "CD track 1; devon; echo Playing Track 1; devoff; alias cdup cd2; alias cddn cd24"

In other words, replace all "loop" entries with "track"

IV. SCRIPTS

SPY Scripts:
*** NOTE *** When using the disguise speed script, MAKE SURE YOU SELECT SCOUT SPEED BEFORE YOU
CHANGE (not disguise) TO A DIFFERENT CLASS. In other words, while playing spy you select hwguy speed. Then
you die and switch to playing a different class (no longer a spy), you will be stuck in hwguy speed!

//bind "x" "sspeed"
//where "x" is the key that switches between spy and disguise speeds

//SPEED TOGGLE
//Can switch between spy movement speed and disguised class speed anytime
alias spyspeed "cl_forwardspeed 500; developer 1; echo SPY SPEED!; developer 0; alias sspeed disgspeed"
alias disgspeed "dgspeed; alias sspeed spyspeed"
alias sspeed spyspeed

//Disguise Speeds
//Speeds can be selected within VGUI
alias sctsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 500; wait; developer 1; echo SCOUT SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed sctsp"
alias hwgsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 220; wait; developer 1; echo HWguy SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed hwgsp"
alias solsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 230; wait; developer 1; echo SOLDIER SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed solsp"
alias engsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 310; wait; developer 1; echo ENGINEER SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed engsp"
alias demsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 270; wait; developer 1; echo DEMOMAN SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed demsp"
alias snpsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 325; wait; developer 1; echo SNIPER SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed snpsp"
alias medsp "wait; cl_forwardspeed 325; wait; developer 1; echo MEDIC SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed medsp"
alias pyrsp ""wait; cl_forwardspeed 325; wait; developer 1; echo PYRO SPEED; developer 0; alias dgspeed pyrsp"

SOLDIER Scripts:
*** NOTE *** As of TF 1.5 I am unsure of the reliability of the different rjumps. Due to client-side timing it appears
as if the types are mixed up now. They will be fixed asap. When in doubt, stick with the Standard Rjump.

//Press to activate jump
bind "x" "rj0"

//Button Toggle
//press to select jumps without VGUI
bind "x" "1ins"

//Toggle RocketJump Variations
//To select different jump anytime in game or in VGUI
alias rj1 "alias rj0 rocketjump; developer 1; echo STANDARD RJUMP; developer 0; alias 1ins rj2"
alias rj2 "alias rj0 LongRocketJump; developer 1; echo LONG RJUMP; developer 0; alias 1ins rj3"
alias rj3 "alias rj0 HighRocketJump; developer 1; echo HIGH RJUMP; developer 0; alias 1ins rj1"

//Rocket Jump Variations
// Standard Rocket Jump: You can use 3 Standard jumps without dying
alias rocketjump "cl_pitchspeed 10000; +lookdown; wait; +jump; +attack; +duck; wait; -attack; -jump; -lookdown; cl_pitchspeed 150; force_centerview; -speed; -duck"

// Long rocket jump: Takes a smaller amount of armor and health,
// press it when your on the run to escape enamys or to reach your
// destination faster. You can use 6 long jumps without dying
alias LongRocketJump "cl_pitchspeed 10000; cl_pitchdown 115; +jump;+duck; +lookdown; +attack; wait; force_centerview; -attack; -jump; -lookdown; cl_pitchspeed 150; cl_pitchdown 89; -duck"

// High rocket junp: You should use this while running and when fairly
// close to your target. You can use 3 high jumps without dying.
alias HighRocketJump "cl_pitchspeed 10000; cl_pitchdown 75; +lookdown; wait; +jump; +attack; +duck; wait; -attack; -jump; -lookdown; cl_pitchspeed 150; cl_pitchdown 89; force_centerview; -duck"
