* Description *

Ice Station Zebra (from the 50s/60s film) is a multi player CS
Level. My first attempt at building 3D levels.
I jumped in at the "deep end"(pun!) and started big, to learn how
to use WC. (Thanks! to David Rowe @nsai).
The rig is constructed totaly from my imagination and my
perception of how an off-shore rig might look in an abandoned
state. The design is probably alien to all of Valve engine's
requirements, in that it is purely a vertical column of 4 floors.
This I discovered late into the build and so HL. levels were abandoned
due to low frame rate. I attempted to make the level very realistic
and forgo R_speeds problems. The average rates during battle are good,
Low r_speeds occur when viewing the complete platform or when
looking up/down from a central position. Sorry about this!
I have re-scaled all my textures to reduce polly counts many times.
Cutting out all refinements suited the the idea of abandonment.
For the full ageing effect make sure decals are turned on.
