* LEVEL DESCRIPTION *
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Half-Life deathmatch map, suitable for about 4 - 8 players.
(Note that there are 10 spawn points on the map, so the maximum number
of players is 10 but there will be some traffic :)

This map is inspired from padman's map "padcastle" for Quake 3 Arena (www.padman.de)
I play that map very often and I like it: slick, smooth and fast gameplay...
a pure deathmatch indeed. So I thought, why not get the whole experience to
Half-Life? Well I know that the HL engine will not deliver the same gothic feeling
of Quake but it should be a nice try and obviously it was.
Not that it was easy; in fact, I had to put some trigger_push entities instead
of the usual trigger_jumppad in Quake 3 (jump pads are more fun ;) and this is
one thing among other stuff that I had to tweak to make the map playable.
The final result is a non-stop action map (you don't walk for 10 minutes
to find another player) and a good deathmatch map to play.

I built this level from scratch using Worldcraft 3.3, with new textures included
in the .bsp. It was compiled with Zoner's compile tools on a PIII 866 MHz, 128 MB RAM
and a GeForce 2 MX 32 MB.

* INSTALLATION *
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's simple:
just extract the files (the .bsp and .txt) to your \Half-Life\valve\maps\ directory.
(by default it's C:\Sierra\Half-Life\valve\maps)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Check my website www.geocities.com/willennium_2k8 for my Counterstrike maps and
for skyboxes for custom mappers to use.

I hope you enjoy playing the map as I enjoyed designing it.
Have fun :)

                                                       Will.
