My second Q3A map (the first one was a POC).

construction

editor: GtkRadiant v1.1.1 "By the Community. For the Community"

other progs: GtkBuild v2.0, PK3man, Adobe Photoshop 6,
Adobe Illustrator 9, Corel Draw 9, Text Pad4

know bugs: High fps, funky bot play
build time: About 3 months. Spent 2 months pulling hair out.

My texture work consisted of making custom textures for the monitor
shaders, TV shaders, Trident Missile, and keyboard (the keyboard was a
bitch). I also did the magazines, books, printers, radio, and inside of
the PC cases. I made the Planetquake clock texture and US Flag textures
too.

Thanks to:

Dean Klimchuk (Xzed) for the inspiration to do something similar to
his great work on Runtfest. I also used some of his great textures
throughout my map.

Mike Williams, the author of "Mikies Room" was a great help in pointing
me in the right direction for info on shaders and other good advice.
I also used some of Mike's nice textures and modified others to suit my
use. I also used a modified version of his shader for my monitors.

Mr. Ente "The Padman" He is a master. He is a god. When it comes to
these kinds of maps, no one does it better. I want to thank Ente for
the help on my missile model. Even though he doesn't speak English,
he took the time to answer some of my questions and sent me a couple
samples. That was really nice. I also used some of his Padshop and
Pad Kitchen textures. His Yes! wav sound and teleporter sound were
too good to pass up, so I used them for my BFG teleporter.

Thanks to my friend and clanmate Mandaran Drummond for advice and
encouragement and testing. He was the spark that got me started after
I played a beta of his wonderful Egyption themed map.

Thanks to Mike Dyer for photos of my desk and PC case.

Thanks to Big K for providing an FTP server to upload this and test
it for me.

Bill Wright for providing the pic of the slick Contractor Poster that
adorns our office wall.

Thanks to Homer Simpson for the "Boobies" sound.

Mike Riley for helping with the math on the function rotating clock.
"Math is hard"

Thanks to my friend Craig who told me, "That doesn't suck!"

... and finally thanks to my friend and wife Caron for putting up
with my and my monopoly of the computer and time.
(she puts up with a lot more).
