Clan Mode

JB:PoW contains features for keeping a clan game running smoothly and fairly. A referee for the match and a captain for each team can be designated. These people will have special authority during the match.

Referee

The purpose of the referee is to set the rules of the game, set the captains of each team, and ensure the game proceeds fairly. The referee can set the capturelimit, timelimit, change maps, kick players, and start and end the match. Although it is possible for the referee to be a player on a team, usually the referee just watches the action.

For a complete list of commands that referees can use, please see the Referee Commands section of the Commands and Variables page. The referee must assign team captains before he is able to use most of his commands. The commands are also available from the in-game menu when you press "ESC".

Team Captains

The team captains are appointed by the referees. They can add and remove players from their teams. Team captains are the only people that can use the "messagemode" or "say" commands to say things that are seen by all players. Players that are not team captains can only communicate with their own team.

For a complete list of commands that team captains can use, please see the Team Captain Commands section of the Commands and Variables page. The commands are also available from the in-game menu when you press "ESC".
