Welcome to the 1ToSix game. This is the Junior edition and does
not have all the features of the Advanced edition. 1ToSix is a
card game. The deck has 24 cards. There are two cards of each
value. The values go from -6 to -1 and from 1 to 6. A hand can be
played in one of two ways: conservative or aggressive. To play
conservative, you select two cards which have to be added or
multiplied. You must figure out the right answer and click on the
bubble that has this number. If your answer is correct, your
score goes up by the positive value of the correct answer. If
your answer is wrong, you lose the same amount. One of the
bubbles has an X in it. This means pass, in other words, if you
click on this bubble, your score remains unchanged. If you want
to play the aggressive way, you select the first card and then
you click on one or more bubbles hoping that one of them will
have the right answer. For any card there are 12 possible
answers. If you pick all 12, you will lose 600 points. If you get
the right answer, you get 1800 points less 200 for each bubble
you clicked. If you do not get the right answer, you lose 200
points for each bubble you clicked. For example, if you click on
6 bubbles and you get the right answer, you gain 600 points but
you will lose 1200 points if you get the wrong answer. With a
full deck, the odds are against you. When the deck is nearly
depleted, the odds shift in your favor, provided you can remember
the cards that have been used up so far. Once you are done
clicking on bubbles, select the second card. You will now see the
right answer and your score will be updated. While you are in the
aggressive mode, three small windows on the right will tell you
how much you stand to win or lose at any point. The X bubble does
not work in this mode.

The cards used in a hand are not returned to the deck. After 10
hands the deck is reshuffled. The entire game lasts approximately
3 minutes. If you run out of time in the middle of a hand, you
are allowed to finish it.

The Junior edition does not keep track of players or scores. The
Advanced edition keeps track of players and their best, worst,
and average scores, it allows you to 'unclick' a bubble that you
clicked by mistake (aggressive mode only), it has 36 cards
instead of 24, and 80 bubbles instead of 42.
