Bobble kits come in two forms:

• PC-only: This version installs only on a Windows PC. The license for this version grants you the right to install on a single Windows PC.

• PocketPC or PalmPC: This version contains two kits - one for installation on a PocketPC or PalmPC and the other for installation on the associated Windows PC host. The license for this version grants you the right to install the game on a single Pocket/PalmPC and on the attached Windows PC host. The Windows PC license can be activated only when the Pocket/PalmPC is attached with ActiveSync. The installation kits are in separate folders - CE_xxx for the PDA version and PC for the PC version.

A Registration code is required to run the full version of the software. Without the registration code, the game will run in a limited, 'trial' mode; the full version can be activated later by entering a valid registration code.

Execute the 'setup' file in the installation kit area to install the game on your system. PDA installations will install via ActiveSync.

Changes in version 2.1:

• PC version installation has been upgraded to use InstallShield - previous versions should be uninstalled before installing 2.1 or later
  
  
• During game play, clicking a word in the entered list will simulate retyping that word, making it easier to add 's' or 'ed'
  
  
• During game play, after a word has been entered, the 'Enter' button will change to 'Last' – click to bring back the last word
  
  
• 3D graphics performance improvements - especially noticeable on PDA's
  
  
• On PC's, a problem was fixed with the default 'right-hand' display

Changes in version 2:

• Added Frantic game type. Clock starts at 15 seconds and is increased for each defined word entered.

• Added Two Player game type - two players on the same PalmPC, PocketPC or PC.

• Added Multiplayer Networking support - multiple players connected via TCP/IP or InfraRed.

• Accept upper case letters when entering words from keyboard

• Added option to show only unused words in the dictionary for results

• Added option to allow letters in the grid to be used more than once in a word

• Added option to limit game boards to a minimum or maximum number of defined words

• Added options for longer time limits (up to 30 minutes)

• The game display has been flipped - putting the cube display on the right, easier to use for right-handed players. A 'left handed' display option has been added for left handed players (which flips the display)

• Improved results display, using combo boxes

• Improved 3D graphics displays

• Updated dictionary, with addition of some common words and removing a few erroneous words

• Miscellaneous bug fixes to improve game play and reliability
