WraithAdmin 2.0
with DES encryption
WraithAdmin is a remote administration tool for Shogo server administrators. Accessable from your Telnet client, a user can start a Shogo server (with any one of seven configurations), shutdown a Server, restart a server, as well as download a server config file from the Internet. Extra features in 2.0 are the addition of a Chat server (a version of the Chat client came with your install that you can redistribute) as well as DES encryption. Encrypt/decypt the main logfile, as well as the Chat log. New commandline flags make WraithAdmin easier to use than ever: for example, with the commandline flag "/go", you can immediately start up WraithAdmin, set your username, password and port number with the values you used last, and start up the WraithAdmin Server. Refer to the picture above (click on it to enlarge it) for a guide to WraithAdmin's interface. Note that when you minimize the application, it disappears from the taskbar and and icon appears in the system tray. Click on this icon to view the WraithAdmin systray menu:
To quit out of WraithAdmin, either issue the "terminate" command from the console, or click the "Quit" button. Clicking the "Quit" button also saves all of your entries in an INI file, so if you want to keep your settings (like the DES Key), use the "Quit" button.
Commandline flags
/go
Runs WAS, starts the server with the default (INI loaded) username, password
and port, and minimizes.
/cold
Encrypts ALL WAS related files (all logs and admin.ini) with an internal key.
/warm
Decrypts ALL WAS related files (all .des files) with an internal key.
/host
Starts WAS server, downloads host.cfg from the provided host URL, and runs
a Shogo server with it.
/go one(two, three, four, five)
Starts WAS server, starts up Shogo server with configs one-five.
Console Commands
General commands
- dir </path> -Returns a directory listing (dir c:\)
- exit - Logout from the WraithAdmin server
- time -Returns server system time
- help -Returns the commandlist
- terminate -Kills WraithAdmin server
- tickcount -Returns server tickcount
Shogo server commands
- serv - Start a Shogo server (default config)
- reserv -Kills the last server, then starts up Shogo server with default config
- reserv(1-5) -"reserv"s with configs one through five (reserv5)
- startserver(1-5) -Start Shogo server with configs one through five (startserver2)
- exitserv - Start Shogo server with the "-emptyexit" flag
- hostserv -Start Shogo server with host.cfg
- hostcfg -Download host.cfg from specified webserver
Chat commands
- startchat - Start Chat daemon
- killchat -Terminates Chat daemon (still a little buggy :-)
- chatdump - Dumps the chat log to the console
- clearchat -Clears the chat log
- archivechat -Save the chat log to Chat.txt
- acview -Dump the contents of the archived chat log to the console
- echatlog -Encrypt Chat.txt with your DES encryption key.
- dchatlog -Decrypt Chat.des with your DES encryption key
Logging
- logdump -Dumps the contents of the log to the console
- archive -Saves the contents of the log to archive.log
- aview -View the contents of the saved archive.log
- earchive -Encrypt archive.log with your DES encryption key
- darchive -Decrypt archive.log with your DES encryption key
- history -View the command history
- chistory -Clear the command history
- storelog -Combines the contents of chat.txt and archive.log in one file called store.log
- estorelog -Encrypt the contents of store.log with your DES encryption key
- dstorelog -Decrypt the contents of store.des with your DES encryption key.
DES FileViewer
DES FileViewer is a utility to view your encrypted WraithAdmin files. Click the "archive.des", "chat.des", or "store.des" to view the chosen file decrypted with your DES key.
Commandline flags
/archive Opens FileViewer with "archive.des" already decrypted and displayed.
/chat Opens FileViewer with "chat.des" already decrypted and displayed.
/store Opens FileViewer with "ctore.des" already decrypted and displayed.
WraithChat
WraithChat is the client used to connect to the WraithAdmin chat daemon. Enter the IP or Hostname of the WraithAdmin server your wish to connect to, and the Nick you'd like to use, and then click "Connect" from the server menu. All of your settings will be saved on exit.
