NewView and SeeFar

These are two modifications which improve the ability to see in the game.

Dungeon Seige is an incredibly beautiful game, but I found it annoying that
one could only look down, had a limited view, and had major fog obscuring
everything.

These two mods are a result of some experiments I made (along with some
advice from the excellent people at game-editing.net).

-- NewView.dsres -- changes the restrictions on the viewing angle for the game.
You will be able to go from a straight top down view down to a level
view and (in some cases) all the way underneath looking up.

I've also changed the zoom so that you can zoom farther out (about twice
as far).

The mod works in both single player and multi-player. HOWEVER, from
what I can tell, this will not change an already existing single player
game. I've only been able to get it to work in SP if you start a NEW
game.

Of course, every game in MP is a new game so it works fine there.

-- SeeFar.dsres -- Adds about 40 meters (of game distance) to the fog in
the game. I also increased the map view a bit. I tried increating the
map zoom further, but it didn't work properly. Anyway.

The fog settings are individualized for every single region in the entire
game. (Over 100 places in all.) All I did was add 40 meters to the fog
distance.

NOW, I have set this up so that it is connected to the "OBJECT DETAIL"
slider bar in the settings options for the game. If you crank object detail
down to the lowest setting, the fog is just as usual. At the highest setting
you have a MUCH greater range of vision. This impairs framerate, but makes
for an incredible beautiful scene.

I have a 1Ghz PIII with a GeForce4 and I was able to put the slider bar around
75% with a somewhat decent frame rate (18-25 fps).

The SeeFar fog mod works in both SP and MP.
