XCOM Equipment Size Editor v1.01 Phase Four Release by Qaj 14-DEC-1997
===================================================

This little utility will allow you to change the equipment sizes for
squads in UFO2P.EXE and squads in both UFO2P.EXE and TACP.EXE. It's pretty
crap. Here's how you use it.

Stick it in your XCOMA directory. If you don't, it won't run.

Once it's there, and you double-click on it, you should see a list box
with all the equipment. Also, you'll see decimal offsets for the
two executables (you can't modify these.) Two boxes labelled 'X' and 'Y'
will display the width and height of the object currently selected. Alter
these figures using the arrows. Keep in mind that X must be between 1 and 4,
and X between 1 and 5.

Finally, three buttons at the bottom will (from left to right) reset all X
and Y figures to the values currently in your UFO2P.EXE file, Save saves
the current values to both UFO2P and TACP, and Exit will quit.

There are five entries in the File menu. The bottom three mimic the buttons. The
top entry is for Importing someone else's (or a backup copy of) sizes via a .siz
file. Export will allow you to create a .siz file either for backup or to give
to friends. The Help menu contains an About selection that will reveal some
information about the program.

Well, that's it in a nutshell. Got any problems, mail me at qaj@box.net.au.
Got any suggestions, mail me.

DISCLAIMER: standard disclaimer about using at your own risk. If it ruins your
copy of XCOM:Apocalypse, your other files, your drive, your PC, your love life
or anything else, too bad. By using this software you automatically agree that
I'm not responsible for anything.

Oh yeah, don't forget to unequip all your troops and ships before you do this.
To edit the graphics, you'll have to use XeD to import new .pcx's. Also, make
sure you don't increase the sizes of equipment installed at default (like guns
on ships - eg. don't make 40MM Autocannons 2 spaces wide or they won't fit
on a Hoverbike.)
