*Descent I Add-On Mission* =Total Insanity= NOTE: This level set has nothing to do with Total Chaos. *Description* Simply put, an original series of 2-player anarchy levels designed by the creator of such levels as Crazy X, Havoc X, Cobra Station, and Demon Bridge. Included are 5 levels that I made over Labor Day weekend. These levels are designed for 2 (maybe 3) players, and so the size of the levels reflects this. There are no megas, cloaks, or invulnerabilities. There are only 5 smart missiles in the entire set. In other words, you might have to use some skill (some of you might remember that word) to actually kill someone. *Information* The levels were created in about 2 to 3 hours each. I didn't plan any of the levels out (which is what I planned to do). Just sat down in front of my computer and started working until a level was finished. I decided to make D1 levels for a few reasons: 1) I hadn't made any really good dogfighting D1 anarchy levels 2) Descent runs (in my opinion) smoother than D2 for anarchy games 3) I wanted to use only simple weapons, and using D1 makes this easy 4) I like the classic feel of Descent. Please DO NOT convert this level series to D2. IF there is enough demand and the feedback is good, I'll make a SIMILAR series for D2. I'd rather spend time making something original rather than waste my time converting levels that weren't designed for D2. And I don't want someone else to convert them because: 1) D2 doesn't have all the textures I used 2) Even if it did, I still don't like the palettes in D2 for making D1 levels 3) The levels aren't designed for flag games at all 4) Adding more weapons/powerups would destroy the balance 5) They're my levels and I said so I'm probably getting all upset over nothing, but my point is don't convert it. Well, just play the levels. I'm sure you'll enjoy them more than you're enjoying reading this. *The Creator* My name is Luke Schneider. I go by the callsign Vizor on Kali. I've designed well over 40 original Descent and Descent II levels. I used Devil 1.02 and 2.1g to create these levels.
