Title : Beyond Belief (in one map) v1.0

Authors : Matthias Worch - original release
		  negke - merged and tweaked

Website : http://www.worch.com

Description	: This is the 1997 classic Q1SP episode Beyond Belief
all combined in a single level (excluding the start
		  map).

The idea initially came up as a joke during the level
design retrospective streams that Matthias did in
January 2015, but then turned into an actual mapping
experiment based on the original BB map sources. The
maps are arranged and connected to allow a continuous
		  playthrough from start to finish.

It remains largely faithful to the originals, save
for a few subtle tweaks, for instance coop shortcuts
and support for both the BB code base and regular
ID1 Quake. A bunch of visual and technical issues
have been addressed here and there, but overall no
throrough polishing or overhaul was done. Ultimately,
the levels are a product of their time, and bringing
them up to modern standards would be a large amount
		  of work.

How to play	: This map requires an engine port with increased map
limits and BSP2 support! It was successfully tested
with QuakeSpasm 0.90.0 and DarkPlaces 14-May-2014.

		  -Extract all files to Quake\id1\maps.
-Run the game and load Beyond Belief as described in
the BB readme (note: it also works on pure ID1)
-Select the difficulty either in the start map or by
typing "skill #" in the console.
-Finally, load the level by typing "map bbin1" in the
		   console.

Technical info	: Quake / BSP2 format
		  15548 brushes, 5136 entities
Original levels made with Quest, merged and modified
with GtkRadiant 1.5; compiled with jury-rigged BJP
		  tools.
No known bugs - nothing major, anyway.

Copyright	: This map is based on the original map sources

version is released with his permission, and the
source file is included. It may be further modified
or used in another project provided that full credit
