* Description *
Your battle after Carved In Flesh continues in this sequel. A contrasting dark medieval castle full of unfamiliar foe. This is not just a haunting, but a return of your supposedly dead enemy. The Earth has recreated its protector, the sleeping god, and it has returned to clear human civilisation from the face of the world. Against its army including a dozen custom monsters, you're backed up with three new weapons and are ready to save the world in my epic finale. (See full story below)

New monsters:
New custom monsters including mini-bosses Cadaver and the Ogre Knight, Demon-Queen, Fiendlings, the first worthy Quake femme fatale - Hell Kitten, Barons, a more deadly Shambler-Vile, modified Hipnotic Wrath's and other modified monsters including new skins.

New weapons:
Three new weapons including the Flame Launcher, Freeze Gun, Positron Beam and a new Lightning Gun (press keypad/weaponselect twice to select older ID weapons).
The Flame Launcher is handy for those situations when you're running low on ammo - it is unlimited! However after thirty shots it needs to reload for several seconds.
The Freeze Gun is more powerful and uses less ammo than a SNG, but once an enemy is frozen you better quickly shatter them before they unfreeze.
The Positron Beam uses rockets but is faster than a RL, and with a good shot can be very deadly.

* STORY *

After your hellish battle through Carved In Flesh and meeting the ultimate source of Earth's enemy, the sleeping god, you had miraculously fought through and killed it.

But you knew little of this creature and its relationship with the world. It had existed in the oceanic floors of Earth since the world was an infant. Over the period of billions of years, it had not only slept with Earth, but had become part of it. The sleeping god had in fact become Earth's protector, not its enemy, eliminating life each time it threatened to destroy the world.

As human civilisation ravaged the surface of the planet, the sleeping god had awoken to end civilisation and return to sleep. But in its weakened state you had killed it and left the world defenceless against the human population. A population of billions which would eventually destroy the Earth they live on.

But, human's had never discovered the full potential of the world. It was not just a growing, and now dying, globe of rock. It had the power to change space and time.

As you stepped into the single slipgate hoping it would lead to peace, it acted as a trigger. A trigger for the world to use its diminishing powers and recreate the sleeping god. A new sleeping god. Fortunate for you, your human race had destroyed and weakened the planet itself, and it was not able to recreate the sleeping god in it's full all-conquering form. It had only the power to recreate the sleeping god, a small castle around it and several dozen strong monsters to stop any intruders, such as yourself.

Even more fortunate, it did not have the power to destroy you itself, and could not stop you from re-appearing in time at the other end of the slipgate you stepped through, right on the outside of the new castle.

Now, you must hunt down the recreated sleeping god and kill it. As usual, civilisation rests in your hands.
