Special thanks to : Bengt Jardrup for his help when this map wouldn't make
a full vis. Without his suggestions and help I would
not have been able to finish it. Thanks Bengt!
Underworldfan for mailing me frequently over the past year!
Thereby pushing me to get this map done. Go on pushng UWF and
maybe some more maps will be done! ;-)
Ratatosk and MiniFlodhest for beta testing. Thanks to you!
ID software for making Quake in the first place. What would we do without it?

* Play infomation *

Single player : Sure!
Co-op : nope
Team Fortress : Nope
C-T-F : Nope
Deathmatch : Nope

New textures : Several from various places. Some of them my own and a lot af them from other places
Since the map has been in development over some years I have lost track of where I
found a lot of the textures
		- If you see any of your textures and want the credit - then mail me and I will correct
		the mistake.

New Qc : Yes oh yes!
I borrowed The dragon AI form Patrick Martins "Dragons.mod" and trimmed it to fit my pourpose.
		 http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/idgames2/quakec/monsters/dragons.zip
The dragon model and skin are from the Quake missionpack 2 "Dissolution of eternity" by Rogue
         Entertainment.
The Imp is by Claus Kruuskopf.
		http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/idgames2/quakec/monsters/imp100.zip
The modified Chthon code is by Dave Weiden.
		http://files.gameaholic.com/idgames.d/quake/quakec/monsters/chthon10.zip
Some code to remove the monstercorpses to improve framerates.
I've used some of Hipnotic Interactives "Scourge of Armagon" Extensions - Rubble generator, Exploding walls ETC.

Bugs : Due to the layout of the level there are high r_speeds several places with low framerates.
Unfortunatly, it can run rather slow on older systems. Expecially in the big courtyard.
This is due to too large an area and to much detail (and that I not master Vis Blocking).
I could have removed some more of the detail from the larger areas (and have done so!), but
then it would not be the same level! If the map doesn't run smooth on your system, I'm sorry

There is a bug in easy mode, as there are one more monsters counted than you can frag.
I have tried to hunt hunt the bug, but haven't found it yet!

* Construction *

Base : From scracth
Editor Used : Worldcraft 1.6
Build time : Oh boy! About 3 years - Build (and rebuild) from time to time often with several months
(or years) of pauses betwen sessions!

                      ****************---------------------------------****************

* Additional info *

Description: - I release this level in time for easter 2003 so I thought that I would give all
quakers a easteregg. So frag throug the level and see if you can find the way to get
	       into the library!

	     - All skill levels are suported.

	     - Monster count:
	       Easy: 100 up to 109
	       Normal: 141 up to 154
	       Hard: 157 up to 173

	     - If you just go through the level without finding any secrets you'll have the low monster
count. Some secrets will spawn new enemies so depending on how many secrets you find -
the more monsters you get to frag! If you open the library you will get the largest monster
	       count!

	     - Some of the monsters has their health calculated after the skill setting! So the higher
the skill level the harder some of the monsters are to kill!

Installation:

The Pak File contains all required files and models.

Make a directory in your quake folder and name it Hrim_sp1. (Ie. C:\Games\quake\Hrim_sp1\ )
Extract all files in this .zip to it.
If you are running GLQuake (or one of the new variations of it), create a shortcut that runs
	quake with the following parameters:

		-game Hrim_sp1

Other parameters may also be added here, like -heapsize (You may need a lot of RAM to run this level
	smoothly. (Ie. -heapsize 54000)

When in game you bring down the console and write

		skill 0/1/2 Whatever you prefer.

	Then write

		map hrim_sp1

	And your ready!

I have testet the level with a lot of the newer engines and found that all the ones I tried
runs the level ok. The only exception is TomazQuake 148. It seems to bee a bug in TQ148
	because TQ146 runs perfect!

History: Not really! Just: You meet a monster - monster tries to kill you - you frag monster - you meet a new
monster - it tries to kill .... etc. etc....

Included in this .zip: pak0.pak (All files and level)
		       hrim_sp1.txt (this text)
