* How to Install: *

Unzip the contents into a pbrsp1 subfolder off your Quake 1 folder.
I have Quake under C:\QUAKE, so I'd unzip this to C:\QUAKE\pbrsp1 - it's about 4 MB.

To run, either use a launcher program (if you have one) or run your preferred Quake engine with
-GAME pbrsp1 +MAP pbrsp1 at the prompt.

Recommended engines :
     - normal glQuake 1.00/1.09 (May have problems/crashes related to edicts and/or too many caches; should be fine)
     - fitzquake    (with normal gamma)
     - qip_glquake (with normal gamma, WHAT I USE =) )
     - panquake (extra edicts are good)
Recommended Water Alpha : .5
Suggested CD listening : Quake Soundtrack :)

note: i have NOT tested this in software quake, because i simply don't care for its overbright pixelated slowness. If *you* do, do whatever
you types normally do for large maps.

It is advisable to add -HEAPSIZE 32000 if running under WinQuake or GLQuake, or
-WINMEM 32 under DOSQuake. 16 will probably do also. Also recommended is -particles 10000

* Lame Story *

"Not another damn military base mission", you and your buddies joke, as rumors of a new operation travel through the ranks. But having
heard of the recent reclaiming of Frater Base, you aren't quite so quick to judge, and having spent more than enough time workin in the
ammo depot since the last mission, you hope you'll get a chance at this one. As it turns out, you get it.

The next day you are briefed on the mission, Operation Hexameron. You are repeatedly battered with the statement that this *isn't* just
another military base siege. You see, Hexameron is not one base but a series of military bases, partitioned into phases. Only one phase has
been discovered, Phase One. Operating under some hybrid power using a mix of hydroelectric and modern super-conductive technology,
Hexameron has been continously upgrading and building. And building. And building. Scans of Phase One produce evidence of newly equpped
forces, along with gradual replacement of two-way doors with solid particle force-field technology. Your job is to infiltrate Phase One,
and destroy any occupying forces and cripple their primary power systems. Of course, it won't be easy; Phase One is separated into levels
of security needed to pass through in order to use their slipgate to return back to base.

"This ain't no Slipgate Complex, kiddo" your commanding officer tells you as he wishes you good luck and salutes. You acknowledge, and
after a technician sets coordinates in the slipgate console, you grab your gun and head off.
