Installation and Playing

Copy retrojam6_negke.* into your Quake\id1\maps directory.
Then launch the game, bring down the console by pressing the "~" or "^"
key and type: map retrojam6_negke

To change the difficulty, type skill 0/1/2/3 before loading the map.

A source port with increased limits (and support for external entity
files) is recommended. However, it is also possible to play this map
on standard ports using the included mod.

To do so, create a new directory Quake\retrojam6_negke and copy the
progs.dat file there. Then create another directory
Quake\retrojam6_negke\maps and place all the other files inside. Start
the game with the following command line:
winquake.exe -heapsize 64000 -game retrojam6_negke

Then select the difficulty and load the map from the console as
described above.

Edict limit exceeded; as a workaround many

.ent file for use with ports that support it
in addition to having increased limits

Grey flashes in software ports -> set
			  r_maxedges 6000 & r_maxsurfs 4000 before
			  loading the map

Large HOMs (outside area) in old(er) OpenGL
			  ports -> increase r_farclip to 16384 if

Four columns not showing up near rune door in
			  DirectQ 1.9.0 - non-critical; does not occur
			  in older versions
