Description : This is the final version of my Map Jam 6 "lava and brimstone" submission at Func_Msgboard.
                          This is also my first single player level for Quake.

                          Signati is the latin word for "sealed". Your path lies beyond a sealed portal. Find and break
                          the seals to unlock it.

                          This level was made using the texture set provided for the jam plus id's original ones,
                          avoiding the comfort zone of my own texture work.

                          Since it's a map jam, Signati was made in a short schedule, from planning to "blocking-out"
                          to detailing to playtesting in just one iteration.

                          The rocks of Signati were my first attempt at modelling organic forms in BSP geometry. I'm
                          very happy with the results.

                          Signati offers "platformer" gameplay. It's about jumping and finding ways to avoid falling on
                          lava. Combat is accessory to puzzle solving and it's possible to use level mechanics
                          (no spoilers here) to kill monsters and avoid engaging.

                          The original version was released along with jam 6. This update intends to polish the looks,
                          add/improve gameplay and set the level for deathmatch. It has better:
                          - Polishment: some things were bugging me aesthetically, some geometry was too messy, some
                            were just not finalized;
                          - Gameplay: many changes based on jam 6 feedback, some improvements, a new battle after the
                            last seal breaks, polished ending;
                          - Deathmatch ready! A full blown DM setup, including geometry for better bot navigation only
                            visible in DM mode. Not the best DM ever, but it's playable. I recommend 4 to 6 players.

Additional credits : Skybox is a derivative of "flatrock" by amethyst7 aka Chris Matz.

                          "*lava4a64" texture is a 64x64 version of the 128x128 "*lava4a" provided, for compatibility
                            with Quake software render.

                          "*skull" was based on the provided "skull" texture.

* HOW TO PLAY *

Along with Quake content files (pak0.pak and pak1.pak), you will need a modern engine, like Fitzquake Mark V
or EzQuake.

Extract the map's archive in your quake\id1\ folder. After that, run Quake and press the ~ key (or ² key) to bring
down the console and play the map by typing this: "map signati".
