Description : A mainly outdoors, sunny middle eastern inspired level. Started as an experimentation with Ryzom textures, to see how they would look in Quake.

Additional Credits to : id Software & Nine Inch Nails for creating the best and most important game ever. SleepwalkR, EricW and all the people who make these wonderful tools, engines and websites that are keeping this game alive 23 years onwards. dumptruck_ds for his Trenchbroom tutorials and many other things. Joshua Skelton for his invaluable video on secret doors. Khreathor and onetruepurple for organizing this speedmapping session. Admer456 for his tip on prism-shaped fence brushes. The various people on dumptruck's Quake Mapping Discord who came to the rescue whenever I encountered a problem or had a question, especially MortalMaxx in the last couple days. Last but not least, my friend Christophe Oudot for introducing me to Doom all those years ago.

* The Story *

Your transdimensional travels have led you to this sun drenched place. This eerily familiar, yet undoubtedly alien place. It feels like Middle East but not quite YOUR Middle East. The people living here appear not to be human. They are giants, judging by the sheer size of their furniture.

But something's wrong. The autochthons are nowhere to be seen. A disaster has happened here. You can still smell the lingering stench of recently charred flesh, characteristic of the countless battlefields your journeys have pulled you through. And then you hear them. The all too familiar rattling of swords and chainsaws, the inhuman growls and hisses of the eldritch creatures you've come to know like the back of your hand. Quake's minions are here. With a sigh of resignation, you grab your boomstick and prepare to rid this formerly tranquil place of the chthonian abominations...
