QuickBar version 1.21

by Matt Lee (mattlee@mit.edu)

Quickbar is a user interface extension to the Quake level editor Qoole.

It provides one-click access to essential level creation functions, especially the
addition/placement of lights and powerups.

Installing QuickBar is easy. Simply unzip the files into your Qoole directory and run Qoole. A new button will appear on the button bar at the bottom of the screen.
Click n the button to restore the window. Click on the buttons while editing a level to add powerups, subtract brushes, hollow a brush, adjust the mouse snap, etc.

Quickbar has been tested on all three versions of Qoole 1.10 (dos, windirect, directx). If, for some odd reason, it doesn't work on your system or screws Qoole
up, simply delete the two files (quickbar.win and start.scr). Qoole will use its own internal start.cfg again. Speaking of screwing things up, I am not responsible for the use of this extension. Use QuickBar at your own risk.

If you have any questions about Quickbar or how it was made, feel free to email me at mattlee@mit.edu.

Also, don't modify and redistribute QuickBar without my name attached to it. Drop me an email also if you come up with sometihng cool. I'd love to see derivative works made by looking at quickbar.win, so please tell me about them.

Version 1.2 changes:

Snap selector was removed, because the Qoole authors put it on the toolbar long ago.
The direction buttons were added in its place, because they are no longer on the toolbar
in newer betas. It is likely that they will stay that way (they cluttered the toolbar).
But I like them, so they're now on the QuickBar.

Version 1.21 changes:

Changed Win_DescLast to Win_Desc after getting a helpful hint (correction) from WhiteFang.
It loads automagically again in the new Qoole betas. Thanks Matt!

Um, copyright info/thanks:

Qoole is written by Matt Ayres and Paul Hsu. Thanks for making Qoole use scripted,
plain English, easy-to-hack dialogs. So far, everything about this level editor is superb. Another thing: bring on the 3dfx support and texture alignment!
