 I. WHAT
 -------

 The Ultimate Regular Quakeworld Patch is a simple modification that resolves
several bugs while adding subtle enhancements to QuakeWorld-- without affecting
regular gameplay. Fixes for URQWP have been culled from Matthias "Maddes" Buecher's
Ultimate Regular Quake Patch (v1.03-1.04), the Quaker Mods by David "Dark Grue"
Hesprich, and DaScott's Quake Deathmatch mods.

  Bugfixes:

* Incorrect teleport workaround by Maddes
* Improved weapon/armor/health pickup by Maddes/Smagol
* Improved death bubble spawn by Maddes
* Reduced "Error: "No Free Edicts" message by Perged;
  modified by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Firing during intermission fix by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Incorrect frag sentence when disconnecting fixed by Maddes,
  modified by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Constantly checking all impulses fix by Perged
* Player gulps bubbles when hurt in slime by Maddes
* Centerprint with multiple strings by Zhenga
* Suicide during intermission fix by Zhenga
* Fixed multiple meagahealth rotting down too fast
* Moving after respawn fix by Xian;
  modified by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Smoother plat movement by Matt Barnett
* Door unlock sound fix by Nolan Pflug
* Respawning where player died fix by Robert Field
* Player's armor is unaffected by "drowning"
* CanDamage() now checks half-sized bounding box, by Maddes
* T_RadiusDamage workaround by Robert Field: this avoids
  players not getting hurt by splash damage, when the attacker
  may in fact be damaged by it
* Palette shift when player dies with quad/pentagram fix by Maddes
* Removing unnecessary use of "TEMP1" for testing player death scenes by Maddes

  Enhancements:

* Grenade spamming protection by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Ping/Rate/Proxy Detection by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Alternate Gib sound by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Weapon drops when player dies-- weapon's default
  ammo removed from backpack by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Fraglimit/Timelimit in server console by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* Resume.qc by Jim Steers, modified for URQWP by Gerard "numb" Ryan
* MOTD by Paolo "Nusco" Perrotta / J. Spickes
* QDM - Check to see if the player has suicided recently to prevent
  suicide alias lamers from disrupting a server - DaScott
* QDM - Player's rockets explode when player dies, random calculation - DaScott
* Underwater lightning gun discharge radius protection - Quaker Mod by DarkGrue
* Complete Enhanced Teamplay Mod [version 0.95] by John Spickes
* QWDuel version 2.1 by Topi Paavola, aka Fang^FAQ^
* Randomized items and powerups

 II. WHY
 -------

Because we can-- and you asked for it.

 III. HOW
 --------

 The entire mod is customizable. To turn features off and on, see the server.cfg (server-
infokeys). To customize the teamplay settings see the documentation folder for J. Spickes'
original read me. To modify constants and globals, refer to the qc modules: teamplay.qc
and defs.qc. You will need a quakec compiler to accomplish any changes made to the qc
files. Try here for a selection of compilers: ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/quake/quakec/utils/;
or here: ftp://ftp.macquakeinfinity.com/numb/teamplay/tools

 IV. WHERE
 ---------

 Check http://www.macquakeinfinity.com, or http://www.inside3d.com/qip/ for server
locations and patch updates as they become available.

 V. WHO
 ------

 Matthias "Maddes" Buecher and all contributors to the Quake Info Pool, Corey "DogStar"
Tamas of MacQuake Infinity, Chupacabras, MacQuake Infinity's uber-admin, Zappa of
visi.com, J. Spickes for the Complete Enhanced Teamplay Mod, "DaScott" for the QDM server
patch. Shelob of BarrysWorld in the UK, David "Dark Grue" Hesprich for the Quaker Server
Mod (supplied several bug fixes). Also, Topi Paavola for QWDuel version 2.1, as well as a
great big thanks to Paolo "Nusco" Perotta of Holy Wars fame, Robert "Frog" Field for his
pioneering work with the Frogbot project (not included here), and all of the above authors
for releasing their code. But most of all, here's to all of you who continue to play
QuakeWorld!!

 VI. VERSION CHANGES
 -------------------

* version 1.04 final

 Altered randomized items -- all randomizing is done from SUB_regen(). Made the constant
MINPING a localinfo key whose value is set by the admin (if not then by the code: 150).

* version 1.04c

 Randomized items

* version 1.04b

 Some oversights in teamplay while adding the duel code have been fixed. CheckPing is
suspended when aliases are being stuffed to the client.

* version 1.04

 Added QWDuel v2.1 by Topi Paavola! See his original documentation for the list of
features and their usage. If a duel is active, or the server is preparing for a duel,
connecting clients will be forced to reconnect as spectators. The resume function is
now also toggled by the serverinfo key "resume." Fixed a bug in the grenade prot code.

* version 1.03

 Renamed version numbers!! All previous versions should be discarded!! I was reminded
by Maddes that I'd find myself at version 10.8 in a couple of days-- at the rate I was
going! Miscellaneous changes to the Resume.qc

* version 1.02 <-- was version 1.2

 Fixed up the proxy detection code. Fixed the firing during intermission bug. Toggled
suicide checking via serverinfo key "cs." Grenade Spamming Prot can now be set via the
serverinfo key "grenade." A value of 10 grenades is the default. Setting that will also
dynamically set the timed intervals used for determining if the player was "spamming".

* version 1.01 <-- was version 1.1

 This release adds Jim Steer's RESUME.QC This release also fixes a bug that prints the
client's address in the motd-- rather than their ping time (oops). I also removed some of
the proxy detection code-- it wasn't working as expected.

* version 1.0

 Problems? Send mail to the address above; but please include the following information:

* Type of server hardware
* Type of server connection
* Amount of clients connected when bug appeared
* Any other information necessary to reproduce
  the bug on another machine

 VII. FUTURE RELEASES
 --------------------

 I will eventually create a complete merge with Maddes' URQP-- meaning, a code base that
contains the code necessary for both Quake and QuakeWorld.
