Ladder v1 (beta)
by Organized Evolution
evolution@organized-evolution.com
Ladder is a server management system for UT2003. It allows you to create customized server "profiles", which can be used to quickly change your server's maplist, active mutators, and game settings with a single command.
Seperate modules handle various aspects of Ladder, each associated with particular "privilege". Admins using the advanced administration system can assign varying levels of control over the configured profiles using the associated privileges for the Ladder system. Find out more at Features.
First of all, what exactly is a profile?
A profile is a collection of settings that control how your server operates - maplist, active mutators, game settings, passwords, etc. Ladder simplifies and organizes the task of administering your server by saving the state of your server to a named preset. When you need to change a large number of settings on your server (a tournament match, for example), instead of searching through an ini file or clicking through page after page making sure that every setting is correct, you simply select the named preset you'd like to use and click "Apply". You can even specify how many matches you'd like a particular profile to be active before reverting back to a previous profile!
Some things that profiles store:
A quick rundown of the various modules in Ladder:
There are four custom privileges that are used by Ladder: View Profile, Edit Profile, Switch Profile, & Manage Profile. Each privilege allows the admin access to the module of the same name.
Ladder privileges can be used to delegate limited control over your server's profiles to others. For example, if you offer your server to friendly clans for their tournament matches, you could setup a base profile containing only the maps and mutators authorized by the ladder, then delegate the Edit Profile privilege to the clan leader. He could then choose exactly which maps and mutators will be used for their match.
Even easier would be for the clan leader to give you the URL of the tournament ladder's online profile. By importing the profile, you don't have to configure a thing. You could simply switch the server to that profile at the appropriate time, and set the server to reactivate the previous profile when the match has finished. You could also delegate the "Switch Profile" privilege to a clan leader, if you're going to be busy or afk when the scheduled time arrives!
Lots of possibilities - I'm tired of writing heh...will finish soon

Ladder is only compatible with UT2003 versions 2166 and higher!
Ladder requires wUtils to be installed on your server! You may download the
latest version of wUtils at http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/El_Muerte_TDS/WUtils
Or, simply use the version of wUtils I've bundled with Ladder.
