I have to delete the .def file to be able to get back in, so it's obviously getting so far. The card emulates an MT32 and (or?) supports General Midi. Selecting the SB and Roland combination works with other games, so does anyone know of a fix for F3.2.1? Mark ------------------------------- From: cisko@d0tokensun.fnal.gov (Greg Cisko) Subject: Major IHHD success!!! There was huge IHHD falcon success yesterday (saturday). Chera Bekker & I picked up where we left off with our IHHD testing. This time though he was using v3.02. I had 3.02.1 & Mig 1.01. I knew that falcon 3.02 & Mig 1.01 would work on a modem connection. I had already tested that, as I have 2 phone lines & 2 computers at home. So our first attempt was falcon 3.02 vs Mig29 1.01. Well, it worked... Flawlessly. The first thing I want to report, is the mig flew life a pig! No matter what I did, I just wasn't able to turn inside of the F16. I finially flew into the ground. (good shooting chera :) On our second attempt, I tried to use the supierior speed of the 29th & out climb him, turn around & have a chance. No dice :( He got me that time... (good shooting chera... I mean it this time :) After that disaster I gave up on the Mig. I decided to try F16 vs F16. On this try I flew into the ground AGAIN!!! But the fight was much more managable. As luck would have it, Chera was being visited by Joerg Stenger & Ian Kent. They were probably helping him :) Well this time I flew against Joerg. I eventually knicked him with my guns & finially finished him off with a 9M. Joerg & I flew again... This time he got me... Finially I flew against Ian. To put it bluntly; I got wiped out! All of this success is with 2400 baud. We still need to try IHHD with me being the caller. Chera had been the caller & I was answerer for all of the flights. All in all IHHD does seem to work pretty well. I think we did have alot of fun. I can't wait for F18. One thing this did do, was give a good feeling (first hand) Of the differences of the Mig vs F16. If you are a Mig pilot wanting to go against a F16, you better be good. I had no problem in IA killing alot of yankee scum. I was pretty suprised...
