Subject: FAQ is out.

I just released the new FAQ in c.s.i.p.g.flight-sim in 8 parts.

I haven't had the chance to do the html conversion yet... but it should be
up in the FTP site soon, right now it's sitting in
ftp.hacks.arizona.edu:/incoming/ebsfaq
soon to be moved to ftp.hacks.arizona.edu:/pub/krismon/ebsfaq

I did the usual Word for Windows, Word for DOS, and WordPerfect conversions
to go with regular ASCII.

It was written in Word for Windoze, so the outline feature is enabled there.

It's big (over 120k) so I'm not going to post it to the list, unless I get
the OK from Jeff.

[ This is just too big for mailing to the list. I'll make sure that it gets
into the archive, and the mirror on cactus.org. -Jeff]

Otherwie, just get it from the ftp site or USENET, if you can't get to it
for some reason, email me, and I can email you a copy.

Kris.

Subject: Memory optimisation

I've been re-optomising my config.sys and autoexec.bat after
installing a CD-ROM drive and sound-blaster, currently I get 616k dos
memory, which while it's enough to run F3 I've heard some people can
get up to 635k! Can any-one help, especially on how I go about
finding out the size of TSR', drivers etc. so I can load them in the
most economical order. Also what should I do in terms of the BIOS
setup??

On a similar note I cant get F3 to LoadHigh (or at least if it does
the extra graphics don't appear) how can I tell if it is loaded high?
and if it isn't how do I load it high (given the "loadhigh" commanded
dosen't appear to work")

Ta,

Mike.
