All the F-16s of other squadrons appear with the old blue canopy and without the U.S. insignia (there are some other minor differences too). Just keep your eyes open and you'll see them in every theater of operation. Tuomas "No indication of threa..." When installing OS/2 last night I was amazed to find that my Microprose F-117A was found, migrated and ran. Now if I could only get Falcon3 to do the same. I've been playing 3.01 for a while, but I had a problem: every so often-- 3-5 minutes--I got a quick burst of afterburner and suddenly rolled about 5 degrees (using a CH Flightstick). I had similar roll problems with my previous joystick. I figured it was a bug of some sort, having heard repeated references to the problems in the Falcon joystick routines. So, having recently gotten America On-Line, I download the 3.04 patch from the SH section. The joystick problem not only has not gone away, it has become even more frequent. 1. Is this a documented bug? 2. If so, are there any ways to fix this? I was trying to bomb a nuclear plant in Kuwait when I got 3 quick joystick blips in succession. Screwed up my approach and I ended up auguring in trying to recover. You know, it seems that all of the recent flight-sim releases have had joystick bugs. You'd think that'd be the one thing the programmers would have figured out by now . . . Jim Thomas Penn State ------------------------------- [[ End of digest Volume 6 : Issue 23 ]]
