There is a cool new editor available for Doom, Doom 2, and Heretic
called Doom E2(Easy Edit).  It lets you build levels very easily,
but also has many powerful and advanced features to let you
accomplish anything you want.  It's worth taking a look at.
The editor is windows based and is very strait forward and
understandable for anyone from the beginner to the advanced
user.
