id Software today released Doom95, previously available only on the
Final Doom CDROM, as a separate download:

  ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/doom/win95/doom95.zip
  ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/idgames/idstuff/doom/win95/doom95.zip

and soon on the idgames mirrors around the world.

It's about 4.4 MB, includes the shareware DOOM1.WAD, but can play all
versions of the main wad files (registered, DOOM II, Final Doom, etc.)
and also includes the Direct3D drivers required for installation.
