I currently host a Command & Conquer and a Quake tournament (c&c tournament in its 3rd month and the 1st Quake tourney is on Oct 26th). the venue for the event is a pub in the midlands near to rugby/lutterworth. its dead easy to find and has a lot of facilities for us. the tournament will consist of networked pc's (of which i supply) that will play deathmatch doom, with the person with the highest amount of frags going through to the next round. this will carry on untill we have a final. the rounds should last about 20 mins in a randomly picked map. entrance to the event is free altho if u want to participate in a tourney (and win some money) there will be a fee of 5 pounds. the prize money will be a percentage of the takings. all the computers will be Pentiums. any one interested can e-mail me for full details on the event. the date for the event has not been finalised yet. as soon as i get enough response it WILL happen. -- Mark Lockland (at work) E-mail mark@lockland.demon.co.uk locklanm@timken.com UK C&C Tournaments! http://web.ukonline.co.uk/members/ryan.philo/index.htm Games Networking http://www.gamesnetwork.com
