                                VERY IMPORTANT:
                     (if you don't have apocalyp_8maps.wad)
                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    To see all of the demo you MUST change one byte in apocalyp.wad.
    The offset is 00043FEB. You need to change the value of this byte from
    33 to 0B. This byte is the special tag of linedef number 1495 on the
    3rd map. The value of 33 means "Switch: End level, go to secret map".
    The value of 0B means "Switch: End level" and player goes to the 4th map.
    The reason why you have to change this byte is that the Doom-engine
    handles of the secret map abnormally: it crashes on 9th map. I think this
    happens because the map has sectors with too big a distance between
    floor and ceiling (-7500..8500).
    Or you may change the special tag of the exit line (on the 3rd map)
    in any Doom level editor. The special tag must be "Switch: End level,
    go to next level" (NOT "go to secret map").
Comments: Yez! I did it. This wad is one of the first wads I have played
          since the time I was a keyboarder. Unfortunately, I couldn't get
          to play the secret map. But I remember myself playing it (at times
          when the Pentium-100 was a super new CPU :). So I skip the secret
          map by editing one byte in wad (see "IMPORTANT" note above).
          Some words about the maps. The design is very good. There is
          enough enemies and ammo on the levels. The 4th map is the most
          complex map because it has an intricate maze and you cannot kill
          all monsters without the checking out all enemies' start points on
          the automap.
          BTW, the music on the 3rd map matches the level structure at
          very well. And when I hear this music I "see" this map before
          my eyes. :)
           P.S. I recording my demos only for 100% kills & 100% secrets. The
                speedrun is not my goal, though... ;)
