Map Time
------------------------------------------------------
01 UAC Labs 0:47 slow; + UV Max in 1:41
02 UAC Prison 0:49 the revenant holds the way back from the blue key open :)
03 Satanic Chapel 0:59 I'm too fast for the 30sec door at the red key
04 The Docks 1:12 switch trick; AV jump to red key possible; I recommend -nomusic
05 Waste Filtration 0:33 only 2 keys are needed
06 Teleportin' 1:04 slow; normally the Archie crosses my way, but not this time
07 Tech Center not possible (unless you like it to punch mancubi) - or am I blind?
08 Military Base 0:27 nice
09 Reactor 0:07.94 :) AV jump; pacifist
10 Reactor Tower           0:04  pacifist; + UV Max in 0:11 (cool musical climax in this demo;
I heard it never to the end, as I record demos with -nomusic)
11 UAC Aeronautics Center 0:58 I don't like this map
12 FH HQ 0:37 slow; exit room is hard
13 Ore Mines 1:22 at last a bit plasma action :)
14 Old Town 1:36 a harmless place to walk around
15 Hell's Factory 1:09 yellow keygrab; possible without invul, but the hellknights ...
secret exit 1:13 remember the yellow door problem in E1M4? here is also a line
that triggers a lift and door, so I killed all imps at blue key
16 Trench 2:23 2nd exit; stupid labyrinth
17 Which Exit? 0:38 no comment
18 Invulneralevel 0:34 confused? if you learned what to do, it's fun :)
19 Sewage Plant 0:34 pacifist; one of the best maps; last room much harder in skill 1
20 Tech Zone 0:45 also a good level
21 Tombs 0:37 strange music; an AV jump to exit can save a bit time
22 Ruins 0:10.00 :( pacifist; got this after 15 mins, wasted another hour :(
23 Ancient Complex 1:33 I like this map; cool music
24 Blood Sea 0:18 pacifist; wow! the Archies had a perfect timing :)
25 Hell to Pay 0:56 excellent map; when the spider is distracted, it's very easy
26 Stone & Light 2:00 red keygrab; the 1st (and last) hard map; I never know how much
monsters block my way, so time is ok; wasted last BFG shot
27 Libraries 1:30 crossed line at red key w/o teleporting (so I missed a little
stupid area); went a roundabout way at the end; not my fav map
28 Hell's Battlefield 0:25 pacifist; another harmless place to walk around
29 The Magma Caverns 1:28 ugly, but good gameplay; I love this music
30 MAYHEM! 1:09 5th try, 1st exit; a good end map
31 Gibbatorium 0:29 easy
   secret exit 0:33
32 CURSED 0:15 door trick; + UV Max in 0:54 (still slow cause I took the SSG)

Comments: A few weeks ago I heard the first time about "Dimensions of Time" in the Doomworld
forums, where some people recommended this WAD, so I downloaded it and had much fun by
           running through the maps.

DOT's map design has not today's standards. The detail level is not high, and there is
an excessive use of silver/shawn/grey textures, so some maps are very ugly (e.g.
Map17). But others are very nice (e.g. Map25).
The gameplay level is higher, but don't expect hard challenges, hordes of monsters or
devilish traps. DOT has some nice ideas and tricky maps and often very good monster
placement (well, Map17 has nothing of that). Overall it's easy and fun to play.

In some maps you can find tons of cells, but no plasma gun or BFG. It seems that DOT
is not designed to play every map from scratch, so I focused on UV Speed to avoid
frustration. I enjoyed it to run through Map14 or Map24 for example, but to go there
for UV Max is rather pointless.
Despite this ammo/weapon problems I managed every single map, apart from Map07. To
reach the exit you have to kill 21 mancubi with almost nothing. Good luck :(
For compensation I included three maxruns.

           Enjoy :)
