After getting a successful exit on map08, I figured that I'd try this map again, as I had desynching problems on this one too. Well, lo and behold, this demo didn't desynch! Lucky me :P.

I liked this level. The gameplay in particular. Slow and fun at first, then gradually picks up from there.

Start...well, easy when you don't fall into the blood pool. Not the case for me several times though :).

After 1st teleporter comes a tricky spot. You must deal with 4 Cybers, but luckily enough, they are behind walls which raise and lower in the right way so you only have to worry about 1 of them at a time. Just keep at it with the SSG until they all drop. Switch hitting mania next, then head thru teleporter to reach the last room.

Seems calm, other than some archies in alcoves. It's a false peace though, as revs start teleporting into cages located in the 4 corners of the room. You get a RL and have plenty of rockets, so kill them off fast. Once they are all dead, focus on the archies. Think it gets easy now? Hardly. Cacos will be teleporting in by this time. Deal with the archies as best as possible, rocketing aside any cacos that get in your way.

By the time some pillars lower in 4 different parts of the room, revealing Megaspheres, things are about to get nasty. There's a BFG and some ammo for it behind said Megaspheres. Pick it up...quick. Shortly after, the last pillar in each of the 4 hallways lower. Bad news...each one has a Cyberdemon on it. Just run around when this happens. BFG them all out, taking a Megasphere as needed to stay healthy (Chances are fairly high to eat a rocket or two here). Once they are dead, mop up any remaining monsters and exit.

I'm satisfied with the resulting demo here. Nothing went horribly wrong. Well, until the last 4 cybers come out to play...then I proceed to eat a cybie rocket, then had to run for a Megasphere. Repeat said eat cybie rocket, grab Megasphere event twice more ^_^.

Time-wise...gee, minute-freaks are probably dying of laughter with all of the even minute demos or near even minute demos I'm releasing.

Improvements? Well...probably more aggressive play in the final room. Not much else though.

I think this can break 8 mins. Sub 7 won't happen though :P.
