Description:

Well, played this wad and automatically started recording. There are some
very good levels in here, and some not so good, I just spent less time on
those that aren't good. Most maps are playable with doom2.exe, but some
require Boom, so I recorded all the demos with Boom 2.02.
Except for maps 3, 6 and 11, I only watched other people's demos after
recording mine; it's interesting to compare the routes and tactics.

MAP01 - INDUSTRIAL IV - Erik Alm
On01-149.lmp - UV Max
100-33-100

Easy to run out of ammo, especially with my aiming. This run doesn't look
good, I've had much better-looking ones, but with longer time.

On1nm059.lmp - NM Speed
53-100-33

This was harder than I expected, but not 'hard as hell', like Erik put it in
the textfile :)

MAP02 - INDUSTRIAL V - Erik Alm
On02-931.lmp - UV Max
100-100-100

I missed the SSG here. Very easy to lose health and die if you're not
careful. I didn't open the door in the crate room to avoid monsters
coming from both sides. First exit with 100% kills.

MAP03 - CAVERNS OF MALICE - Dan Crowley
On03-341.lmp - UV Max
100-0-100

Very little ammo. I didn't like much the idea of giving the minimum amount
of ammo at start. Chainsaw isn't very fun on barons :)

On3nm050.lmp - NM Speed
37-0-100

No problems with the barons in NM because of doubled ammo.

MAP04 - IN AND OUT - Gregory Dick
On04-555.lmp - UV Max
100-100-100

That's a very fun map to play, so I put some effort to do it in less than
six minutes.

MAP05 - F.A.B.C.F. - Dan Crowley
On05-842.lmp - UV Max
100-0-100

This map wasn't fun at all. Especially when there are bugs when a monster
activates an open/close door which cannot be opened from the other side.

On5nm126.lmp - NM Speed
59-0-100

Kill the sargeants, hell knights at the start, and just forget about the
remaining monsters.

MAP06 - CLOSE COMBAT - Phil Brown
On06-141.lmp - UV Max
100-33-100

Stayed one second behind Albert's brilliant demo. With my stuck-on-every-
corner movement I rarely used to get below 1:50. Oh, and it's my first demo
recorded with my new computer! Still have to get used to instant loading of
the game :)

On6nm309.lmp - NM Speed
111-33-75

Well, this can hardly be called a speedrun since it's nearly twice longer
than Max.

On06-4rb.lmp - Miscellaneous

This is a miscellaneous demo, here I somehow kill the baron with only four
rockets.

MAP07 - HELL SIMPLE - Erik Alm
On071548.lmp - UV Max
100-26-100

No, it's not necessary to do the revenant lift with rocket launcher in order
to collect all the secrets ;) Didn't perform very well with all those
mancubi.

MAP08 - CASTLE - Erik Alm
On081540.lmp - UV Max (sort of)
100-85-75

Nice map. In the outdoor area I ran outside just to show it's very easy to do.
Couldn't find a way to take the secret megasphere. Near the very end, I heard
the sound of wandering chaingunner, so I returned to the inside to finish him
off. Thanks to whoever from id team for implementing these sounds :)

MAP09 - THE ARCHVILE'S REVENGE - Doug Merrill
On09-518.lmp - UV Max
132-100-100

Very intense action. At least two cybers are required to survive and kill the
hordes of revenants and those damn archvilles :)

MAP10 - 3-TECH - Virgil
On10-420.lmp - UV Max
103-100-100

I've found that punching demons results in longer overall time, so changed a
bit the route there. Unfortunately, every so often one demon used not to
teleport in, making a maxrun impossible. I had a run that would've been 4:10
or so if I hadn't died from cyber's rockets.

MAP11 - THE 24 CYBER SPIRITS - Erik Alm
On118627.lmp - UV Max (sort of)
108-33-16

Aaaaww, that's a hell of a map :) I didn't expect at all to reach the exit at
this try, it was more like a warm-up, first time I survived up to the invuln.
And it shows - I often don't know what to do next, make silly mistakes, etc.
And the time - the whole eon of 86 minutes! Being too lazy to figure the map
out by myself, I shamelessly copied the route from Ryback. Btw, near the end,
in the passage with archvilles, I accidentally archville-jumped back into the
hallways TWICE :)
Oh, and, according to Budko's modified Prboom, there's an alive monster (not
counting those two inaccessible hell knights) somewhere when I exit the map.
However, I couldn't find that monster with walkcam. Maybe someone else can?
