E1M1 3:29
For a while I used to get stuck in the green armor room, waging a battle on two
fronts and dying slowly. Then tried getting rid of the Demons and Specters in
the initial arrea to make my life easier. After a few runs I managed it, at five
minutes and some 114% kills. It wasn't a pretty sight, so back at it I was. This
time I decided to throw caution to the winds and that turned to be the key to
success.

E1M2 0:29
The exit is tantalizingly close, but the route to it is heavily congested with
Imps, Pinkies and Specters, all hyped up on -fast juice. For a long time I had
to contend myself with 1:23. Then, following the previous demo's example, I
found some shortcuts; and after dying horribly a few dozen times, made it to
the exit.

** Note that DOOM.EXE v1.4 beta was used to record this demo. This particular
** version retains v1.2's special line quirks that allow the bridge to the exit
** work; at the same time, unlike in v1.2, you get to see the tally screen - a
** definite bonus. You can download the v1.4 beta from any DOOM FTP site, it's
** doom14bt.zip in directory pub/idgames/historic/. You can use a v1.9 IWAD
** with it to play this demo back, just avoid the F1 key =).

E1M3 0:57 (RET13NAN) and 2:00 (RET13SNA - secret exit)
On Nightmare!, this is a fun short level, easy to optimize. Never mind all
those Skulls. =) Took some sweating to work out the secret exit demo route,
though.

E1M9 1:00
Another quickie. Once you figure out how to get the Sarges arguing, you're home
free.

E1M4 0:17
By far the easiest demo of the bunch, can't have taken me more than three tries.

E1M5 2:35
While this is an enjoyable level on UV, the same can't be said for Nightmare!,
for some reason. The strategically placed Seargents and Skulls do their best to
spoil the party.

E1M6 4:09
A lot of baddies, but you're given more than adequate means of wading through.
The time can be improved upon, but I got bored having to chaingun all those
Pinkies and dodge all those Sarges crowding you, time after time.

E1M7 0:24
Nice and easy.

E1M8 2:07
Ugh ... Eight Barons Of Hell and only 16 rockets. By the time you get three or
four of them down, a couple fresh ones respawn. Lovely.
Had to settle on doing this level Tyson-style. Told you I was a wimp. Maybe
Xit Vono could do it on NM...
