Notes.

1) The first level (E2M1) will make Doom95 abort to the desktop, in
the area with the bridge and the chaingun. It's been some years
since I had a close look at the map, but IIRC it has something to
   do with textures.
Naturally, DOOM and prBoom have no trouble there <shrug>.

2) There's a ghost on E2M2. One of the secret sectors (namely, #91)
is nowhere to be found. Neither prBoom nor any level editor I
tried (WinDEU, DOOMEd and WAD Author) could track the sucker down.
Weird. Hmm, wondr if the mysterious "few magic lines" averred to
in the Bugs section have anything to do with this... If anyone
runs into this dodgy sector one day, please let me know.

3) Only 194 baddies out of 197 can be snuffed out legally on E2M9.
To elaborate on Mike Toliver's notes to his SudTic demos (see
sudticmt.zip), there are two Demons (things #237 and #238) out of
sight that cannot be reached unless you no-clip into the outside
area in the west where a bunch of other Pinkies roam.
The whereabouts of the 197th monster are unknown. I don't even
have any idea as to what it could be. Something real small,
   probably. A midget Imp? :D

4) SUD29BUG.LMP demonstrates how you could get stuck at the beginning
   of the secret level.

5) E2M8 stats are courtesy of prBoom.

A lovely, classic episode from June '94. Among the first PWADs I
played, so I may be biased =).

Solid design, good textures choice and alignment make Sudtic stand
out in the host of early WADs. Every level has its own distinct
"personality", its own atmosphere. The new textures are well done and
used appropriately, blending nicely into the Shores Of Hell ambience.

The gamelay ranges from decent to excellent. Some levels may seem a
snoozer on UV, but -fast option magically transforms them. The change
is most evident on E2M4 and E2M6, due to the lack of weapons at the
starting point. Makes for a hectic start on what would otherwise be
trivial to do levels. In particular, on E2M6, the demo of I am actually
proud of.

Hard to pick favorites here, the quality is very even throughout the
episode. I'd say E2M5 and E2M6, the latter 'cause I must have died a
hundred times doing the demo, hehe. Years ago, I hated E2M7, the tower
in the beginning used to annoy me to pieces - I'd be stuck there for
half an hour at a time, going up and down, dodging incoming shots and
cursing the damn auto lifts all the while. But with a bit of planning
it's quite a nice level; once you figure the quick way off the tower,
the rest is a breeze.
