For the Doom 2 episode "System Vices" by Bob Reganess

This is a pack of UV Speed demos for Sysvice1.wad.

File required: Aboosysv.zip
Download link: ftp://3darchives.in-span.net/pub/idgames/levels/doom2/a-c/aboosysv.zip (I'm guessing; it is still in /newstuff)

If you want to watch the demos with Doom2.exe, you will need to run DeuSF over the wad. There is a batch file, but it boils down to:
DeuSF -app Sysvice1.wad

I made this pack fairly quickly, and didn't agonize too much over shaving a few last seconds off the times. Essentially, I decided what the route should be on each map, and once I had recorded a demo that followed that route without too many foul-ups, I moved onto the next map. That doesn't mean the demos are lousy though :)

All the demos were recorded with GLBoom 2.2.3 with Doom2.exe compatibility (-complevel 1). They play back with PrBoom 2.2.3, GLBoom 2.2.3 and Doom2.exe (v1.9).

System Vices is a nice old-school episode from 1996, with a mass of new graphics. It was one of many wads made available via the CompuServe Action Games Forum but not sent to the cdrom.com archive. With the Action Games Forum defunct and its file archives apparently lost, I searched around quite a lot for this wad, and eventually found it on an old back-up disk, and have recently uploaded it to the archives. The maps aren't very difficult, especially if you know the routes, but fast monsters or NM should make them quite a challenge. The UV speed routes used here are moderately safe, so a movie run should certainly be very much feasible.
