Well, if you ever wanted to see what Plutonia map 32 looks
like without the red screen then this is the demo for
you! ;-)

I have never before recorded a demo for "Plutonia" (mostly
because I've never cared for it much), but I've always
liked good slaughter maps, and map 32, "Go 2 It", is one of
the better (though it doesn't come close to MM map 23, or
HR map 22, 24, or 32), so I figured I might make a tiny
contribution to this megaWAD as well. Yet again, I chose to
play reality style, using -fast monsters and on this map,
the supposedly "hardest" map in Plutonia. I don't agree
at all; it is fun but really not that hard. Several earlier
maps are IMO much harder. *shrug* I wanted to do it -fast
since I figured it would be harder and therefore more
impressive, but I'm not sure if regular UV is easier...
There is so much infighting here quite a lot of the work
is done for you. But anyway, even though it wasn't that
hard to do, it still must surely be close to impossible
to do unassisted.

Again, I recorded in longer chunks, about 60 segments,
making for about 10 seconds per part, though some segments
were really short (SSGing the 2 chaingunners near the
ending) and some were very long (the entire PE fight was
recorded in a single go!).

As for time -- unimportant, as long as I got it under 10
minutes. Notice the ending, hehe. ;-P

I haven't played this map for almost a year now, and it
shows in many ways; I do stuff in the wrong order, and
sometimes have to go pick up extra ammo (needlessly). I
started out using my usual max route but soon found out
that one wasn't particularly effective if one doesn't
want to get hit. ;-)

The bit I'm most disappointed about here is clearly the
parodic PE fight, where I waste about a gazillion shells
and much much time. I thought about re-recording that bit,
but since I got it all in one go I thought that must be
some sort of sign, so I kept it in and *still* got below
10:00! Go figure. Those of you watching with fast forwarding
capabilities might want to look into it for this part. The
rest is okay.

Other notes ->
Some things also are purely for entertainment value, such
as the Revenant fireball chases and Cyber fighting outside.
I went back to check everything was dead before I recorded
the very ending, so I'm quite sure I killed every monster.
Recording took about 2 hours in total including breaks,
listening to Astral Projection music. I originally wanted
to make this Tyson style as well, until I figured out that
would be extremely dull and long... Then I considered SSG
only but that would also take too much time for anyone to
sit through it. Heh.

A great thanks goes out to Adrian "RamboBones" Danis, whose
30UVND21741.LMP (full Doom2 UV run reality style!) is a
great accomplishment showing the triumph of will, and was
an inspiration for this.
