Revolution (TVR!) Speed Demo Pack by Graham "Grazza" Burgess

For the Doom 2 Megawad "Revolution!" (TVR!.wad) by Thomas van der Velden

This is a pack of demos for TVR!.wad. There is a UV Speed run for each map (two for map 15, taking the secret and normal exits), and some miscellaneous Nightmare! and UV Pacifist runs. There is also one nomonsters run, and one NM100S run. Some of the standard NM and UV Speed runs are also Pacifist and/or 100S.

You will need to run DeuSF over the wad. Instructions are given in the accompanying text, but it boils down to:
DeuSF -app TVR!.wad

I believe many of these demos are quite good, while a few are there mostly for completeness. The demos are summarised in a table (TVRdemos.rtf), where I give an indication of their quality. There is a separate text file accompanying each demo.

All the demos were recorded with Legacy 1.40, and therefore will obviously play back with Legacy 1.40. They might also work with some other versions of Legacy, but haven't been tested.

I would recommend unzipping all the demos into your Doom2 directory, and using the Legacy Launcher to browse and, well, launch them. Don't worry about spamming your Doom2 directory; when you have finished with these demos, you can easily locate and delete them, since all the files start with "TV".

I think Revolution (TVR!) is a very good megawad. The difficulty is generally not too high on UV, but UV -fast is quite a challenge, and NM even more so. There are some nice visual effects, some of which you don't get to see in these speedruns, so I heartily recommend that you play the wad yourself.
