Comments:

These are UV Speed demos through the WAD "This Suxx!"
maps 1-31. Map 32 is (IMHO) not completable from
scratch because it contains an arch-vile, no ammo,
and nowhere to hide. :-)

From what I've gathered, nobody has recorded any runs
for "This SUXX!" previously, so I chose to do it, and
pay my respects to the greatest mockery WAD of all time!

All the maps are simple and straightfoward, and most can
be completed fairly quickly. The overall level of
difficulty, even on UV, is low, apart from a few maps,
namely maps 22, 26, and 32. I played many maps
pacifist style simply because it was the quickest way
to play them. :-)

I tried to get most of the times down to about 10
seconds or less, but didn't bother too much about
aesthetics generally, since I only worked on this for
about 1 hour in total, with snack breaks. See below
for comments.

I can warmly recommend this WAD to anyone. As long
as you're in the right frame of mind when playing it,
you'll have a blast!

I recorded the demos on an old PII running Win 95,
and DooM 2 ver 1.666, so I had to convert the .lmp:s
to ver 1.9 with LMPC. They *should* play back okay
with DooM 2 ver 1.9, although I haven't tried it. They
all play back okay with PrBooM 2.2.3.

*Summary*

The kills, items, secrets, and time have all been
checked with PrBooM 2.2.3. They might show up
differently when played back with DooM 2 ver 1.9.

* Individual Map Information *

Map 01	Too bad the author didn't include a RL. :-(
This would've made the run a second quicker.

Map 04	It's easy to get stuck on a spider mastermind
	and then you're history.

Map 06	I was a bit lucky to get through the SS troops
	so smoothly.

Map 08	I made a pacifist style run on this one as
well, but it was a second slower... That last
spider isn't that easy to dodge.

Map 10	The first map with some serious opposition. I
don't think pacifist style is possible, because
of the first commander Keen. You can squeeze
through the rest of 'em all right, but the first
one seems impossible to pass. So you need to
shoot it down, and for that you need a shotgun.. :-)

Map 12	A very fun map! It allows for much tactics, of
which I use none. ;-) You could get through without
doing anything by just placing yourself behind
Romero's head and let the Cybies' rockets kill
	him.

Map 13	This map can be completed 1 second quicker by
using an alternate exit (turn immediately to
the left, and push the exit wall). I noticed it
when looking at the map in an editor, but I
didn't bother to record a faster run.

Map 15	This looks like an "excellent" E2M9 rip. :-D

Map 16	See comments for map 12.

Map 17	Where's the Arch Vile? ;-)

Map 19	I found a COMPET-N style trick jump, allowing you
to land directly on the platform and run up to the
switch. This saves you about a second.

Map 22	One of the hardest "This SUXX!" maps. This is a
first try/first exit run, so I expect one could
do considerably better. The trick is to get the
army of pinkies to spread out by waiting in the
start room a bit, and then going slalom through
the corridors. I would love to see a good
speedrunner make a max run or a pacifist run on
	this map!

Map 23	One of the standard DooM engine's bugs is visible
here, the "ghost effect". Check it out.

Map 25	One of the "best" maps of all time! I think you can
squeeze by the last spider mastermind without
shooting it; that would save a few seconds.

Map 26	Probably the hardest map in "This SUXX!" from
scratch (apart from map 32). There's no point in
shooting anything here; I just play it cool and
let the Hell Knights leave the exit corridor.
It's pure chaos from there on. But making it in
is what counts, I guess. Again, I would love to
see a max run by a more competent DooM player.

Map 28	The exit is cleverly hidden. You have to learn how
to find it quickly. It's also fun to stick around
for a while, dodging rockets from 4 directions
	simultaneoulsy! :-)

Map 30	A highly original map 30, to say the least...

Map 31	Looks like another E2M9 rip. Here, speed is *everything*.

As I said before, I don't believe map 32 is completable from
scratch. Does anyone care to prove me wrong!? ;-)
