For anyone who downloaded Twilight Warrior in the first two or three
days of release, here is a small patch to fix the slight sound bug.
The reason the Browing/Heckler sounds didn't work relates to the way that
the new sound library in Legacy uses sound. The dspistol.wav was sampled
at mono 44KHz - double what is should have been. The pistol sound has
been reduced to a 22KHz recording - reducing the sound quality a touch but
at least it means you'll be able to hear the sound.

The knife sound still doesn't work, and the wav files has been replaced
by a null entry. Just consider the knife to be a completely silent
killing tool. Since the knife is so rarely used, it's not really a
problem.

Some sounds we've made completely null on purpose - you shouldn't hear
doors opening or closing for instance. So don't write and complain about
it.

Using this patch:
Place the wad and new bat file into your Doom2 directory. Run Twilight
Warrior as before. Of course, if you're in any way proficient at Doom
editing, merging the patch wad with your main Doom wad will be a cinch
using something like NWT or Wintex. This is optional, and if you don't
know how to manually merge wad files, don't worry.
If none of these appeal, you can download the main zip again, which now
includes a fixed twilight.wad (no more sound bugs!)
